CipherMatrix – Image Encryption & Security Analysis Platform

Excited to share CipherMatrix, a full-stack image encryption system we built as part of our Image Processing course. The goal was to create a powerful, real-world solution for securing digital images while also providing deep analysis of encryption strength and resistance to attacks. ✨ 🔑 Key Features: 1- Multi-algorithm hybrid encryption engine combining 10 techniques (DCT, DWT, FFT, Chaos Theory, DNA Encoding, AES, ECC, Cellular Automata, Compressive Sensing, and Rubik’s Cube transformations) 2- Real-time cryptographic analytics including entropy, NPCR, UACI, and pixel correlation 3- Visual validation through histogram analysis and interactive comparisons between original and encrypted images 4- Built-in attack simulation lab for brute-force and differential attack testing with resistance scoring 5- Secure key and vault management with in-memory storage and key fingerprinting 6- Lossless decryption ensuring perfect reconstruction (MSE = 0, SSIM = 1.0) 7- Responsive and interactive UI with real-time rendering and smooth user experience 👩‍💻 Tech Stack: Frontend: HTML5, TailwindCSS, JavaScript, Chart.js, Three.js Backend: Python (Flask), NumPy, OpenCV Architecture: RESTful API with modular and scalable design This project helped us bridge the gap between theoretical cryptography and real-world applications, while strengthening our understanding of image processing, security metrics, system design, and full-stack development.
