Super Sales

Recently, I analyzed the Superstore Dataset using Power BI and Python to explore sales and profit performance across categories, regions, and customer segments. Key insights include: Steady growth in sales and profit from 2014 to 2017, with 2017 being the best year. Furniture delivered the highest profit, while Office Supplies had the largest order volume. The West region led in sales, while the South showed the weakest performance. Standard Class shipping dominated sales, while Same Day was least used. The Consumer segment contributed over 50% of total sales. New York recorded the highest orders, followed by Los Angeles and Philadelphia. More than half of sales involved discounts, boosting revenue but reducing profitability. A small set of customers accounted for a large share of sales, suggesting opportunities for loyalty programs.
