HR Analytics Power BI Dashboard

Developed a comprehensive 3-page interactive HR Analytics dashboard using Power BI, analyzing data for 4,410 employees across multiple dimensions including attendance, performance, and workforce demographics. Overview Page provides a high-level summary of key HR metrics including attrition rate, job satisfaction, performance ratings, and working hours, with breakdowns by department, gender, and age group. Employees Page delivers deep workforce analysis covering salary distribution by job level, employee distribution by job role and education field, marital status breakdown, and satisfaction scores by distance from work. Attendance Page tracks workforce attendance patterns through custom DAX measures built from raw in-time and out-time data, including attendance rate, absent days per employee, late arrivals, and overtime analysis broken down by job role and gender. Key technical achievements: Built a complete data transformation pipeline converting raw in-time and out-time CSV files into a structured attendance table using Power Query Engineered 10+ custom DAX measures handling complex filter context scenarios including absent days calculation from missing rows, normalized attendance metrics, and cross-table aggregations Resolved data modeling challenges including relationship cross-filter direction issues and cross-join problems between fact and dimension tables Designed consistent UI/UX across all pages maintaining a professional navy blue theme with interactive slicers for Department, Gender, and Month filtering Tools used: Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query, CSV data sources
